Hey guys,

I was on another comic board and the topic of Chris Evans bulking up for the Cap role came up.

Obviously they only have a limited time so he can't put on much mass anyway but what do you guys think? What do you hope Chris looks like and if time was no limit what is your ideal Cap look?

I'll post mi e whe. I'm not on my iPhone.

He shouldn't look like the Hulk, that's for sure.

Really, he should looklike Bruce Jenner in the 1976 olympics.  Like the worlds greatest athelete, lean and muscular, but not too over bearing.

That's pretty much how Kirby drew him in the 40's and that's how I think he should be even now.

I mean, he should be cut and hanve nice guns, but really you don't want a guy who looks like the Rock, you want a guy who looks like an athelete.

I totally agree with Matches. He should be fit, lean and mean. Nowadays Cap is drawn pretty bulky, but I kinda liked Kirby`s take on him. He wasn`t wimpy but he wasn`t huge either. On another thought. They could film the pre-serum shots now and give him time to bulk up afterwards. Even though he isn`t quite that small.

I think they are going to do Preserum with CGI and bulky clothes, unless they skip the 4-f Specimen which is probably a msitake, and something I don't think they'll do.

They could also get a very thin actor and put Chris Evans face over him in sort of a benjamin button thing, but given that the face is harder to cgi than the body, I think they'll go the other route.

You might be right, though. In the first Spider-man Maguire had bulked up before filming started so the scene where hes in his room about to pass out they used one of the crew members body and put Maguires head on it. So you might have something there.
