I think we'll be getting an answer in the next few months but the rumors are still out there.

Here's one today for Ryan McPartlin. I don't know this actor's work and there doesn't seem to be anything to it other than internet rumors and the actor commenting on his desire to play the part...

Haven't seen Chuck?  During the show, he was referred to as, "Captain Awesome."
Tall, has abs, but no broad shoulders or that 'Daniel Craig' chest, ...afraid he might look like Matt Salinger.

I'm going to say no to him. I think they need someone who has a rugged look. There MUST be someone with a rugged look who is also somewhat young. I think Matt Damon might be able to pull it off, but I doubt he wants to. I watched some clips of that guy on Human Target, he has the look, but his voice seemed kind of wimpy. Whoever they give the role to, he better have the tough attitude and the heart of Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer.

Someone with the heart of Jack Bauer would be more fitting for the Punisher than Captain America.  For Cap we need someone with the heart of... Cap.

I've only seen a couple episodes of CHUCK.

I'd still like to see Chris Pine (STAR TREK) get a crack but I heard that he is being eyed for Jack Ryan in some upcoming Tom Clancy movies. And STAR TREK II is suppose to be a go for the end of June 2012 too. Can't wait!
