I've been trying to track down some of these Cap items while doing my Christmas shopping this week. I did just get the Cap shirt and tin at Kohl's. Still only $10.
I did track down the Sharon Carter/Stealth Iron Man two pack and the Mini Mates with only one Cap in it (still trying to track down the all-Cap pack). The stores are loaded up with Iron Man stuff but Marvel's Super Hero Squad has some toys out there. There is a Cap hovercraft vehicle from the show that I'm trying to find.
Last year, Hallmark had a Cap ornament so I swung by to see what they had this year. Cap is part of a new ornament of three heroes from the Super Hero Squad.
I even found the briefs with Cap shield on the crotch. NOT that I plan to wear them!!
Surprisingly, the local Wal-Mart didn't have much of anything for Cap. Just lots and lots and lots of Iron Man (one hopes, if the movie is a hit, we'll get that for Cap). In the girls section, they did have a girl's canvas bag with a classic image of the Avengers (John Buscema?) with the words "I love a Man in a Uniform". I made the comment to my lady friend, who knows to buy me Cap stuff, that I'd never buy that, not wanting anyone to misinterpret the saying. She got defensive so I THINK I know what she got me for Christmas.
