Well I picked up my copy of Cap WWWTS yesterday. And I have to say its one of the best reads I've had of our Sentinel of Liberty in a long time. Brubaker is at his best with sprinkling reveals here and there, some of which were even things I hadn't thought of but turned out to be great. Butch Guice is in his typical great form. Exercising his ability to render Kirby, Buscema and even Steranko in several of the books panels. At the same time Guice and Luke Ross get to show that they do have their own art style as well. The only gripe I have (and its a small one) is they do not really answer  the question in the title, at least not to my satisfaction.
Final words is, with everything Marvel's released ahead of Reborn #6 coming out, I feel this kind of soothed me with the details revealed in this title which are issues and things we would not have seen in any of the 6 issues of Reborn.

Is that a one shot, or a TPB? Think I'll have to pick it up.

I agree that the art is great. Actually liked the standard cover over variant (the collector in me made me by all.) I can't comment on the story line yet 'cause I picked up issues 49 - 601 and reborn 1 - 5 plus this issue, but haven't started to read them. I find I like Brubaker stories in large runs of the book... in a sitting. This alteration in Marvel production made me feel I should hold back reading even longer, until I can read the books in the proper order, once published. I'm not trying to suggest this is the proper way to do it, but his books tend to be decompressed (more art work, yeah!) and as another example to explain why I wait for chunks, the final books in Ultimates came out so late that I needed to reread them all just to make sure I was following the storyline @ the end.

It's just a one-shot with a $3.99 cover price.

I just finished reading Reborn #5 and Who Will Wield the Shield. It`s 8:26 in the morning and I feel great already. I`m happy to see the old man back, disappointed about certain issues that the story tells us but happy Steve made it home. I enjoyed the WWWTS a LOT. Guice`s art, as above stated, to me looked amazing and in my own opinion, better than ever. After looking at the artwork of Bryce for so long, (the reborns) i`m glad to see an artist who DOESN`T mess with the costume. I loved the art and Brubaker made a story that kept me spellbound. I hope you other fans enjoyed and hope you`ve all bought it asap because it`s absolutely beautiful. Great book. Just wish I knew what they were talking about since Reborn #6 isn`t out yet, with certain things. Anywho. BUY IT!!!

I agree with pingclang 200%. I think it's stupid for Bryan Hitch to try tweaking Cap's costume. If he want to make a costume to call his own then go out and create his own character and see if it has the staying power of Cap. We don't need him to attempt to rewrite the character design.
Also I'm still curious about several things in the story of Cap & Bucky on the Channel Islands:

1.Where the sidecar on the motorcycle came from; Historically there wasn't one.
2. Bucky being in full combat clothing down to his mask.
3. A whole freaking Nazi Battalion for them to fight their way through.
Hitch may be a very talented artist but I for one don't need or appreciate his rewriting cocmic book history. I think it takes a lot away from the reader.
And before anyone jumps me and says what about Brubaker bringing Bucky back, Brubaker took advantage of using the fact that a body was never recovered and as he's stated many times this was a Stan Lee retcon in the first place.

Couldn`t have said it better myself. However I would like to correct myself, I have no idea why but I said Bryce instead of Hitch, where that came from I do not know. So there it is. My mistake.
