Well I was just snooping around on PREVIEWS site
( http://previewsworld.com/public/default.asp?t=2&m=1&c=6&s=451 ) and once again, The powers that be at Marvel have delayed two titles of our favorite character. Now Captain America Reborn #5 isn't coming out until Dec.16 2009 and the one-shot Who Will Wield The Shield has been pushed back to Dec. 23 2009. Why can't they get a schedule and stick to it?

Well, maybe they want us to wait with bated breath...

I beleive this may delayed to coordinate with other titles.

I recently read (sorry, can't remember the source) an interview with Quesada who said Who Will Wield the Shield will be out before Reborn 6, even though it takes place after Reborn 6 because there are events in it that are important to Seige. And, it would be impossible to push back all the titles involved.

I don't know for sure, but Reborn 5 may be delayed to better coincide with other events in the MU. Then again maybe not.

I wonder if the delays might be happening to have Captain America's return coincide with the date of his 'death' in February?

It is frustrating though!

Comic book time is very very flexible as we all know. Still you may have something. It may be something as simple as Bryan Hitch being so slow an artist.

This is probably the case.
Either that or Brubaker is behind as well, isn't he doing a few other titles right now as well?

SPOILER ALERT:  WARNING:

CHECK OUT Dark Avengers Annual 1.  Some wonky picture of Captain Marvel or Noh-Varr on cover.

Could be the superhero formerly known as Hawkeye, Clint Barton, who is now Ronin.

Last page had Bucky/Cap talking to some bulky blonde guy in a spy suit, called him, "Steve."

Yes, some are chatting about this on a comic site I visit. Some of us are pointing out, "Hello? Captain America:REBORN?? Anyone not know what that means?"
