I really want to get a DD #43. Definitely get it signed by Colan and Lee . Great books! You are definitely right If you don't stick to a theme, you will spend a lot of cash.

Hey do you have that Amazing #600 that I posted? (CGC SS 9.8 Stan Lee)

You said you were trying to collect those right? (100,200,300,400,500,600)

If you don't have it, and are interested in it let me know.
Maybe we could work out a trade?

I do have a Spidey #600 but not that one. I have the Romita Sr. cover but its also not graded yet. Its another book that I will be submitting next October for Romita Sr. and Jr. to sign at the NY Comic Con. They are the first 2 guests announced. SO time to start saving!

Hey Tim you know what I'm looking for now is a high grade (9.6 - 9. Secret Wars #1.
If you see one please let me know.
I need one so I can get Zeck to sign it with Dan in February.
Thanks!

Quick question about CGC comic signings. Do you have the outer plastic cover signed? If so, does that still count since it's not the comic that is actually signed? I figure when a CGC comic is twice signed, the comic and the plastic cover a both signed.

I'd be worried that the signature would rub off the CGC plastic.

Good question. The actual comic is signed and then incased in the plastic slab. The yellow label is for signature series books only. The label will state who and when the comic was signed. I have seen some people just get the outside of the slab signed but CGC will not authenticate them. They make bags that fit the the CGC case so that would protect the signature if you choose to go that route.
I have a book that Gene Colan accidentaly signed twice but both signatures are on the book itself.

Hope that helps

Yes Ebay, best offer option.

Hey Wade, normally people don't get the plastic CGC case signed. (A few have, but it's not the norm).

What they do if they want the already slabbed book signed, is they have CGC witness crack the case to get the book out.
Then the book gets signed, sent back to CGC, and gets slabbed & graded again.

That's exactly what I'm going to do for the Secret Wars book above.
The artist (Zeck) is possibly doing a signing in February and I always wanted Secret Wars #1 signed.
So it is a universal "blue label" 9.6 book now, it will get taken out, signed by Zeck, sent back to CGC, then back to me and in the end it will have a yellow label which means "CGC signature series.

Damn those CGC bastards, they are making bank off of suckers like me & Dell Rusk, LOL!

Going to add Romita Jr. in October and hopefully one day Kaare Andrews. Never see him attending any cons.

Awesome Hulk!
A question? What did Steranko write on the comic after "To Tim"?
Posted:  19 Dec 2009 01:04
Regards. I'm not sure why they have to note that on the CGC label but not what Ferrigno wrote. He wrote "The Hulk"

That is weird that they would label "Regards".
"The Hulk" would have been a cooler thing to mention on the yellow label.
Maybe they think "The Hulk" is part of Lou's name LOL!

Its funny cause I had Steranko and Ferrigno sign this book myself and later a CGC witness added Stan. I cracked this book out of the slab myself and it was a 9.6. Now it got a grade bump after being handled by Sternako and Ferrigno.

LOL! What are the odds of THAT happening!?!
Ha ha that's great tough.
Maybe you shouldn't get it signed anymore, it may go back down in grade after that. LOL!

These are by one of my favorite artists. He doesnt normally do comic book characters. He does Halloween paintings and stuff related to that.

Sam! love the Batman #200 SS. I have a Vampirella #1 Commemorative Gold edition that I might have Neal Adams sign. I had Frazetta sign a Platinum edition already. Might get them framed and put next to each other!
