Although I still have to watch them, I picked up those other Filmation DVD sets for ARK II, SPACE ACADEMY, and a third one. Obviously, some of them were inspired by Star Wars but they were some good live action Saturday morning fun. Still, LAND OF THE LOST was the best! The Isis show is out on DVD but still no Captain Marvel/Shazam.

I have all the Land of the Lost DVDs except for the movie which I rented and boy was it stupid. Waste of pretty good effects and a good franchise. I didn't get the logic of taking something that would obviously attract families and then making it a dirty movie that nobody would take their kids too. And die hard fans of course hated the complete ridiculousness of the whole thing. Such a wasted opportunity to make a great sci-fi classic all for what's his name that goofy Saturday Night live guy.

I'm still waiting for Shazam to go on DVD. If money ever starts flowing again I'll probably get some of those others.
