Do you think Captain America would eat his food with Ranch dressing, BBQ sauce or both?
Posted:  02 Nov 2009 21:18
Obviously that's going to depend heavily on what he's eating.

None of the above!

He lives by the this qoute

If it's a steak, BBQ sauce.

If it's a salad, ranch dressing.

Of course he wouldn't eat salad, because he's a real man.

I highly doubt Cap would ruin a perfectly good steak by putting any kind of sauce on it, and I for one am offended that you think he might.

Now ribs, yes BBQ, chicken, Certainly, Lamb chops and you're pushing it, but steak?

No, Steak is eaten rare with only a few select spices designed to heighten it's flavor, not bury it.

LOL! You guys crack me up!

Captain America eats only chicken breast without the skin, tuna fish, broccoli, egg whites, and occasionally breaks down and drinks a soft drink. Or is that just what I eat?

i think cap would tear up anything that's not an MRE.

Considering that CAP 1) grew up during the depression and 2) has a metabolism so fast that he can't even get drunk no matter how much beer he drinks, I have to say that he can and will eat just about anything put in front of him.

His depression era up bringing would instill that he has to eat everything on his plate, and his metabolism would allow him to eat just about anything he wanted and keep up his ripped body.

Remember Michael Phelps had to eat 8,000 calories a day just to keep from losing weight. If Cap weighs 240lbs, that's over 50lbs more than Phelps, how much would he need to eat then?

He'd be eating close to how much the Flash eats, maybe not that much, or as fast, but a lot! I think they don't explore that in the comics because having to eat a lot during war isn't really combat effective.

amazing.

Although given that his bodily processes are enhanced to the peak of human efficiency, he may make more use of the food he consumes than you or I would.

That said he probably does still eat a lot... of steak.

As a side note;  Captain America could get fat if he consumed a large ammount of food and ceased to exercise.

Whent he Beyonder came to earth in Secret Wars II he used a duplicate of Caps body as his human form.  Later when he realized he has to eat and stops eating broken glass, he winds up eating large ammounts of ice cream which makes him quite pudgy.

The beyonder later disapates this fat, but it showed that if Cap stoped exercising and ate lots of ice cream he, just like the rest of us, would get fat.

Really, if his body operates at peak efficiency, then likely it is equally operating at peak efficiency in the storing of energy for later use.

If we're talking nuggets, Cap's a Honey Mustard guy all the way!!

If it is salad, absolute NO Italian or Russian dressing! If the Japs and Ratzis had a salad dressing named after them, they'd be banned from the Avengers Mansion as well. (Note to Jarvis)

Hey why wouldn't cap use Russin Dressing, those hard fighting reds were our allies against the Germans!  Cap's not going to hold a cold war he largely slept through (given the Marvel sliding time line) agianst those noble men he fought beside.

You're right!!
Dr. Zhivago's Natural Blend is BACK on the menu!!!
But don't expect the 1950s Captain America-Crouton-Smasher to have any!

BBQ sauce all the way...
