Ah, don't sweat it man. There's no hurry at all.....just one of those things that I'd consider getting one day. But thanks....will look forward to the scans.

Also, once you look through it....I am curious as to how up to date the info is.

Was it written before Bucky came back? after Steve Died? just curious....

I finally opened it up. The magazine is nice. Basically, an overview of Cap's history.

However, the book is dated 2005. I thought I bought this only a couple years ago but there ya go. Not up to date at all as this is pre-resurrected Bucky.

I'm scanning a few pages now.
Looking though it, the copyright date is 2005.
The most recent stuff seems to be up to the Winter Soldier storyline when Brubaker first took on the book. No death stuff mentioned in it at all.
I'll have pics posted soon....

Anyone looking for the super big Captain America coloring book from 1978, check eBay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-1978-CAPTAIN-AMERICA-GIANT-COLORING-B ...

This person apparently has several since I bought one from them the other month. The books are pristine and, yes, HUGE!!! I don't see this on eBay much so jump on it.

It will be the biggest Cap, or any character, coloring book you ever bought!

Went to a local small toy show this past weekends and got me a nifty item....had never heard of it before but I saw this at a guys table...

(This is a stock image from eBay. Mine is # 121 of 1500)

Thought it was kind of neat and odd. Never seen it before. Was even more surprised when the guy only wanted $2 for it.

SOLD!

Holy Crap you got a steal!!!
Congrats, that's just awesome!!

Awesome,

I bought mine (#297) when they first came out during Caps 5oth anniversity (1990-91). Obviously the guy did not knw the true value of this item!

Good Good deal

I got some other pins during the 50th but never saw those.

This month's PREVIEWS.....Page 383...TWO Cap shields to choose from..

The 24 inch plastic one for $25....

And a 23 inch METAL one for only $65. Must be a flimsy metal as metal replicas go for $200-$300.
