I'll have to put that one on the poster page in the mean time I'll upload it to the gallery. http://captain-america.us/gallery/k-collectibles-4.htm

Having a hard day trying to put a windshield wiper motor in my old ford truck. Man do they rig those things or what.

I've found, over the years, that sometimes it is just easier to pay someone else to do it right. I think it is when my brakes fell off and onto the highway when I learned that lesson.

I stopped before it got to the point I'd have to take off the hood. I figured I'd never get that thing back on right without bending the crap out of it.

Here is my latest addition to my Cap collection....

It is a Vintage 1966 pin/button that measures 3.25 inches in diameter.

Now I am an OFFICIAL member of the Captain America Super Hero Club!
LOL!

Nice! I still need to find me one of those 1966 buttons. A couple years ago, one in the package went for some big bucks.

Is that Cocoa Mix official or did someone make that?

Okay, I broke done and bought some of that Cap cologne. Just too funny to not have in the collection.

I think it's official, but I have never seen it in stores before. (Not that I actually looked for it though).
On the auction it states that it is 3-4 years old.

Did you buy the Cap cologne online or in a store?
I am so temped to get that also, you are right it is too funny. I may actually cave.

Hey I know, I'll buy it for my 4 year old for Christmas, then after he forgets about it keep it on my shelf LOL! J/K

On EBay. But I should have shopped around more because there are plenty more for cheaper prices on EBay, even by the same dealer, than the price I paid.

Yeah I'm looking around, I think the cheapest I have found on ebay is about $13 shipped.
While my kids wake up on Christmas morning and open up Transformers from Santa, I'll be opening up some Cap cologne from Santa, LOL
Posted:  07 Dec 2009 21:55
Think I might have to get one also!

Here is something different.....
http://www.captainamericas.com/

It's a Captain America bar & grill, and they actually use his shield logo & face on their web site.
Do they have the license for this!?!?
Check out the shirts they sell in the mechandise section too.

Well, so much for saving money!!

BTW, the Cap Cologne came in the mail today and it got a big thumbs up by my girlfriend. Sounds like it is for active boys from 3 to 43. lol

Nice shot glass set Atomic!
I don't think that's the set that is out now though.
I called 3 local comic shops asking about it.
(Treasure Island, Lee's, & Black Cat)
They said that there is only one design out, even though the listing says "3 piece set".
Lee's & Treasure Island had them in stock and are selling them individually.
(Lee's = $2.99 each, Treasure Island = $4.00 each)

As for the Cap ornament, I haven't seen it in person yet, but I have seen it all over ebay for the past several weeks.

Here is a picture of the shot glass set that everyone has in stock now. I do think the glasses in the link you provided above might look better then this one.

I picked up the shot glass today at Flying Colors Comics in Concord, CA. $3 there and not in the three-pack. They said more people wanted to buy them individually so they decided to sell them as singles. I'm not sure if there was any special packaging for the three pack.

They also had some of the Toon Tumblers. For Cap, the Double-sided one from the last Comic-Con and the single image Romita one from a previous year. Apparently, there was a special Maga Con Cap Toon Tumbler out there too that I need to hunt for (not at this store though).

Flying Colors also has many of the REBORN variants if anyone is looking but I draw the line when the prices are in the $10-$17 range.

Ha ha, looks like we bought the same things today Atomic!
Picked up my Cap shot glass today also (Wednesday) when I went  to the comic shop to get Reborn #5.

Yeah I seen the Reborn variants at my shop also, selling for $15.
I agree, $15 seems a little high and they price em high as soon as they come out too.
Posted:  17 Dec 2009 14:03
Yeah, I admit, even though I get my mail order comics at the beginning of the month, I did buy REBORN #5 today too. I just can't wait.

I really hope all those REBORN variants over saturate the market and they get dumped into the cheap bins in a few years. I'm usually not a variant guy and don't want to fuel the speculator market of the early 90s again but I am a Cap collector. But there really are too many variants for Cap now.

I got an email that the Cap keyboard has shipped too. Yes, I could not resist that temptation either.

LOL you bought the keyboard already!?!?
Damn, that's awesome man.
It does look sweet in the picture above.

I lost this auction the other day.......
http://cgi.ebay.com/CAPTAIN-AMERICA-SENTINEL-OF-LIBERTY-1941-BADG ...

Damn I wanted this one bad too, I was winning for a while then bidding just got to high for me.

It's an actual 1941 badge WITH the card.
The best thing about it is the card is not even signed!
A lot of times when you find these cards it has a name on it, how rare is this clean card!?!?

Although it doesn't come with a card, there is a collector shop out in San Francisco selling one of those pins. You don't see the card too often.

IMO, this is one of the Holy Grails of Cap collectables. As far as I can tell, the ONLY Cap merchandise pre-1966. Definitely the only one from WWII.
