Anyone has this book?  After I bought it, it sort of dissappeared from bookstores and comic stores.

Yes, I have the Classic Years book. It has been holding its value over the years. It does have one goof where a disgruntled Marvel employee drew a penis on the yellow color plate on a Bucky who was strapped to a table.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who bought the laser disc despite not having a laser disc player.

I also have the Vhs version and a bootleg version of the 90s Cap trainwreck.  The bootleg had an extended scene of Rogers talking to his girl on the beach, very awful awful awful dialogue, "They're making you a spy.".  There was also a scene where Cap shoots some Nazi soldier -- looked like kids in a vacant lot playing war.
I'm hoping to find someone that'll help me or show me how to post those scenes on youtube or here.

In the 1990s, the local video shop had the Cap movie and someone had written on the package, "Don't rent this turkey!". Funny.

I'm getting my Cap collection set up but have come to the conclusion I just don't have enough space to put it all out. I'll need a separate room for that eventually. Once it is set up, I'll take some pictures.

I'm not as familiar with video but, if you have a Mac, can't you just input the video into the computer and record/rip it in something like iMovie?

Nice collection Vincent!

I like the watches, really cool

As for the classic years collection, yeah I've seen that on ebay over the years. For a while the value was going up, I saw it sell from like $75 to $120.
Recently the price has come back down.
I think it may be because of the new Masterworks reprint books that have come out.
Example....

Oh and wow, even the 90's movie laser disc!?!?
You gotta be a real DIE HARD FAN BRO to have bought that!!

Awesome, thanks for sharing!
I always enjoy checking out rare Cap collectables.

Wow, I didn't know there was a story behind the Classic Year books.
That Cap puzzle with John Romita's artwork and the yellowing tiles, my father bought that for me way way way back in the 70s in Boston.
The Cap Index book with the Steranko cover, I first saw as a child but passed on buying it.  In the 90s, I found the Marvel comics (GA) Index book and remembered the Cap Index book, and sought it out for years, until 2006 at a convention I bought it.
At first, I had a display of my Cap stuff, but I kept adding pins, books, toys, statues, and eventually ran out of room.  I put them away and took them out when I found time to take pictures of them.  I'm just glad that I'm not that big Spiderman fan, his merchandises enormous.
And that Cap game, the little stands that held up the cardboard game pieces/men, missing.

There is a 1960s Cap board game too. I think from 1966? Apparently it came with a comic book and I have NEVER seen the comic.

A local shop out in San Francisco has a 1940s Sentinel of Liberty pin. If I had a spare $500 (Yeah, right!) I might get it. I think that might have to be the ultimate Cap collectable. That and the membership card are the only Golden Age collectables for Cap that I'm aware of until about the mid-1960s when one started to see some new Cap collectables.

I have a few puzzles but not the two you have. I definitely don't have the soap. I hear there is some Cap cologne out there. Can anyone confirm this? I don't have any Cap watches in my collection.

The index book is great. I still use that book for reference. The cover by Steranko got turned into a poster a couple years ago. Such a great image! I think I need to frame the poster.

Hey PS Schmucker,
Yeah I got my Cap Classic set in the slipcover when it came out also. I'd show some of my Cap items but still haven't figured out how to stick a photo on this site.

excellant stuff I have the hard  boumd collection and the 1966 game but would liek to find a watch or two. I just pick-up the Cap and Klaw sceret wars pack. but alas I am a poor collector and can get these items only every so often. Thanks for the pictures

That Clarest and Garney Watches with the black wrist bands I got off of an internet site, Ewatches I think.  I was on the Marvel site and there was a posting for custom Marvel watches.  I went there and custom made 2 Cap watches about 20 bucks each.  Later they posted the special edition Travest Clarest Cap watch, going for 60.
That was somewhere around 2000 to 2002.  I can't find that site anymore, Marvel stopped posting it.  They may have changed name or lost their Marvel merchandise rights.  It's a shame, there were other Marvel characters other than Cap that you can make into watches.
