I don't know why I never thought of it before, but Ralph Moeller would be great as Thor. I know he is not really that young, like every body seems to think Thor should be, but Thor is a God. He is timeless, therefore, as long as he is not an old fogey, he could do it. Not to mention he already played Thor-ak in the Scorpion King. Maybe he gave himself that name in the movie to entice Marvel to cast him as Thor. He is 6'6", same as Thor, and already has good accent. He was great in Gladiator too.

Tyler Mane, Sabertooth in x-men, would be a decent choice too since he is not as old as Moeller, but I think Moeller is a better actor. Oh, and Triple H has a good look for it, but I don't think he is nearly good enough to pull it off. Plus, I think he is only like 6'1" or so. You know how those WWE types inflate their heights. He is not 6'4" like they say, that is for sure.

Need to see them in a Thor suit with the trademark goldilock blond hair. The Sabertooth is almost there with the long hair.

My question is can Ralph Moeller be all noble and ancient with grand speech. You know using thous and thees and so forth.

I don't know. Can the Sabertooth guy? I think Moeller would be better at than Mane would. Just the accent alone, would make it sound cooler.

Ascent comes in handy for Thor. You ever see the Hulk TV movie with Thor in it?

Yeah, remember seeing it, but I don't really remember his voice too much. Just remember him asking about beer, like he did in the Ultimates movie.

Yeah, he came across as the ultimate red neck bar hopper who only wanted to fight, drink, and party.

Nooo!  Bad enough that I had to endure Ralph in that Conan series with that horrible speaking voice, worse than Arnold, now I'm going to hear him in Thor?
How about the Rock for a Thor movie.

Hey I like the Rock! Most of his movies are pretty good.

Here i go again.
For those who hate wrestlers the Rock as a superheroe must be a headache. I´ve heard of a movie with both Rock and Cena.
I can´t imagine Mr Johnson as Thor, please don´t kid me...
Remember Dolph Lundgren as He-Man? What a wonderfull Thor he could be, even he is swedish, nordic as the God of thunder. With the long hair of Masters of the Universe and the muscles he showed in Little Tokyo[...] he should be the best Thor. But he´s yet too old, i see must of us have in mind actors who could have been but time passed and they had not the chance.
Can imagine Steve Reeves playing the roll of Superman in the days he starred the Hercules movies?

Yeah, Dolph Lundgren is too old and thin now. Although, I don't know if he would have been that good as Thor though.

I'm thinking now that they are probably best off going with an unknown for Thor as well as CAP. They'll find one. Lundgren was unknown before Rocky 4. Hulk Hogan was unknown before Rocky 3. I think Mr. T was unknow before Rocky 3 too, and Stallone and Carl Weathers where both unknown before Rocky, just as Arnold was pretty unknown before Conan. And we all know Christopher Reeve was unknown before Superman, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Wesley Snipes as Blade (joke), and I'm sure there are many others. I think when any movie is looking for an actor to play a well established character, or even some not to well known, that it is more than capable to find lighting in bottle with an unknown actor. I think Marvel will find somebody great for Thor, but don't think they will find said actor in the main stream.
