The latest issue of Wizard covering the upcoming 2007 movies has given their opinion on who should star in the Avengers movie.

First off Matt Damon has Captain America. They site his role in the Bourne Identity. They do acknowledge he doesn't really have the Cap physique, but they don't think it's possible to find a great actor, with the Cap physique.

Scarlet Witch - Jessica Biel from Blade Trinity.

Thor - Karl Urban from Lord of the Rings as Eomer. They liked his grand dialogue capabilities.

Hawkeye - Josh Holloway  aka Sawyer from Lost. This guy is a great actor. I love Lost. It's a awesome show.

I've always thought at some point Sawyer would turn out to be Don Johnson's kid.  They look and act a lot a like. They even came clean that Sawyer's name is really James, like James Sonny Crockett.

Yeah it might be hard to find a good actor who would built like Cap should be, but I think a blond Thomas Jane woulda been a good choise, if he wasn't already the Punisher. Maybe they could really bulk him up, Will Smith put on like 40 pounds for the Ali movie.

Well, just my 2 cents.  Now that his movie has been released, what do you all think of wrestler John Cena as Cap?  He has the build, can act decently, does action, and most people don't get this, but Cap was very young when he was frozen.  He joined the Army at 18, and it was only a few years later when he was frozen.  So he should be around 22-25 years old, or a few years older if they set it later in his career.
Then, they could have Shawn Michals as Hawkeye!

John Cena, he's the guy that played on the Marine movie that's out on DVD ain't he? I haven't seen that one yet, but I'm going to. It's on my list of movies I want to see.
