Probably wont. I was definetly thinking about it but to worried about a grade drop. This is actually the book that I got outbidded for on Ebay. The winner never paid and I got a second chance offer. To be honest it sounds fishy like they bid it up in hopes it sells and when it doesnt they offer the second chance but I got it for what I was willing to pay so it doesnt matter to me.
Did you go to Wondercon?
Also are you sending anything in for the masters signing? I think I will be sending 1 for Lee. 1 for Romita and probably 3 for Simon. The Lee book is a Amazing Fantasy #15 german reprint! The Romita is a Spidey #200 cgc 9.6 already signed by Lee and Im having a tough time with the Simon books. To many choices. __________________

Hey that's RIGHT, you didn't win that auction!
You lost at the last second, I remember that now.
Well yeah like you said, you got it at what you were willing to pay so it sounds all good.
Congrats!
Wow you got an Amazing #15 German reprint as well?
Cool, that will look sweet with Stan's sig on it.
I would definelty agree with you and NOT send the 9.8 Cap #1 in for a Joe Simon CGC SS.
IMO it's a rare 9.8 and I wouldn't want to risk it.
If a certain 9.8 book is pretty common, that yeah I would just go ahead and risk it. Being that there are only 2 in existance of the Cap #1 reprint, I would play it safe and hold on to it.
I read somewhere that they are pretty limited and most of them were damaged in shipping or something like that.
As for the "Masters Signing".... no I am not at this time. I had some books for Lee & Colan, then Gene Colan backed out because of heath problems so I'm not participating this time as he was one that I wanted and didn't have.
Damn I should have picked up that sketch cover Cap #601 on ebay the time you picked up yours from Dan.
IT seems the week after that Gene canceled all his con appearences for the year, and who knows if he will even do anymore cons again?
Wondercon!!?!?
Hell yeah I was there!! WOOHOO!!
Submitted for CGC SS (3) Supegirl books signed by 80's Supergirl Helen Slater!
(2) 1985 Movie Adaptions, and (1) #50 which came out recently where she wrote a story in the book.
Also submitted to Chandler my Cap's CGC 8.5 collection #110, #111, & #113 to be signed by Steranko and Joe Sinnott. I haven't decided yet, but I may go ahead and ask Sharon to add Stan Lee & Joe to all three books as well.
Oh yeah and Chandler came though my friend, HE CAME THROUGH!!!
Avengers #4 CGC SS & Joe Simon art!!
Pictures coming soon!

Mike Zeck in da house!
Came in pretty quick too.
The signing was on 3/11, and it came back to me on 4/10.
CGC must have cleared up their backlog.
Also here are some Zeck sketches!!
Got the Cap last year from Par2ch, then recently bought the Batman off of him as well.
The Wolverine I got from someone at the CGC boards.
It has the same sketch date as the Cap one, so I consider them "brothers" lol.
Neal Adams!

Awesome! You have quite a few sketch covers now. Are you ordering any of the avengers blanks? I have one of my favorite artists Matthew Kirscht doing a Red Skull cover for me. He said it has a 60's feel to it. I have a Cap vs Wolverine cover also being done. A zombie style ww2 Cap ( army helmet style) already done and hopefully on it's way back to me by next week . Pretty excited about seeing the finished product on them. __________________

WOW that all sounds freakin awesome!!!
Please post em when you get em, I'm excited myself just hearing about that stuff.
60's Skull, WWII zombie Cap, and....Cap vs Wolverine!??!
I can't wait to see this stuff!
As for the Avengers blanks, no I haven't ordered any as of yet. I just saw DWC's thread on it.
Looks pretty good, perfect for Cap sketches!

Thanks for the info!
I'm checking out their web site now, trying to see if there is anything else I need from them.
Right now I'm thinking about picking up about (5) blank Avangers covers.
How many you picking up, 30? lol. I kid, I kid...

Yeah I did pick up the 284 off of ebay, I haven't seen that one slabbed on ebay for a long while.
Man, those Joe Simon pics are AWESOME!!!!
You got pics of him signing each one of your items, that's so cool! All of em awesome books to get signed as well! Those 2 wizard covers are my favorite ones! Nice choices!
I've been on the lookout for a graded Brubaker #1 for a while now. For some reason, it doesn't come up for sale often for such a recent comic only a few years old. I may end up looking for a mint raw comic at this rate.
Does Ron Garney still do cons? It would be awesome to get his sig as well on that #1 Volume 3.
With the new CGC rules though, it seems harder to get multiple sigs on a comic now.

Garney still does Cons. I'm sure he will be in NY in the fall! I might add his sig to my Cap #454 signed by Simon already.
As far as the Brubaker Cap, Your right I haven't seen to many come up for sale lately. I have two 9.8's and two 9.6's. Hopefully one of the 9.8's keeps its grade after the Simon signing. Its already signed by Epting.
I love the Wizard 9/11 cover with Cap. I sent the 2nd one in because I'm probably going to give the 7.0 one to my brother for his B-Day! Either that or my 9.2 Cap #1 German. Maybe I will just give him a choice. I bet he takes the wizard cover.
Did you happen to see Chandlers Stan Lee tribute signing coming up?
Sean NyComics took the pics. He also had sketch covers done again and I was kind of pissed because I told him after the last round I would love one and I thought he said If there's another round I'm in well there was another round and I didn't get $#it. O well I still got 4 books done. __________________

NYComics had another round of Joe Simon sketch covers!?!?
Wow, that must be a private thing with him and his customers I'm guessing right? Because I don't remember seeing anything public from him announced other then Joe Simon autographs with the Legends tour.
I did see the (4) sketch covers he got done from Joe on the last round, they looked pretty awesome and were graded a 7.0 I think. I wonder how much it costs to get a Joe Simon sketch on a Fallen Son book?
Yeah I actually knew about Chandlers Stan Lee tribute since Wondercon. Sharon filled me in on it, and told me Chandler couldn't spill the beans officially at that time because of somethng to do with Disney not making it official yet at that time.
The way she described it to me was that it was going to get this one of a kind special label and everythig. It sounds freakin cool!
I submitted my Cap 110, 111, & 113 (CGC 8.5's) to them at Wondercon for Steranko to sign and was also going to call them to get Stan to sign it also at that event as well for the special label.
What just threw me off now though is that the books will be submitted to CGC right after the event and the Steranko signing in Pasadena is like 2 weeks AFTER the Vegas Stan Lee event. So now I'm stuck.
Depending though on who else they add to the guest list, I may just send in another book.
I'm just waiting too see what other names get added on.
I've seen they added Layton & Micheline, which would be freakin awesome if I collected Iron Man books.

Lol! I know! Wasn't sure what was happening with the book and then it just showed up! I guess I would have to say the sketch covers are now an addiction! I'm always trying to think of what to get next. With 2 new blanks coming out there will be no shortage of them.
Still trying to figure out what to send in for the Stan Lee tribute. Definetely the Amazing Fantasy #15 German but not sure what else. Would like to get a Cap book in there but want something he worked on. Maybe my #109. Would like to do 4 total. __________________

So it was YOU that bought it huh!?!?!
Yeah I had it on my ebay watch list, was considering it.
I would have bit for sure if Gene Colan was still doing signings.
If not me, I'm glad it went to you bro!! Congrats!
It's a classic Colan Cover, nice book bro!
Of the early Cap covers, I also really like #115.
A really cool cover.
