In the mid $600 range now! That's including CGC fees and whatnot. Still worth it to me!The price wasn't going to be hard to meet until I just made another major purchase. Bad timing I guess but I'm happy with my purchase. __________________

This is an original piece of art from the guy who co-created Cap in 1941, so yeah it's worth it! Good luck my friend, I hope Sean can pull it off for you!!
And yeah I think I've seen you buying a lot of stuff recently too ha ha! I've seen your name on a few sketch opportunies at the boards and you even beat me to that cheap Cap pedegree the other day ha ha!!
You have been on a roll the past month!!
As for me I'm trying to sloooow down as SDCC is right around the corner. Plus The East Coast signing too! Damn everything is adding up right now.

If u want the 9.6 ped that I just bought you can have it for the same price I paid. I actually thought they were both 9.8's. Just wanted to own a copy of that pedigree. Let me know. No big deal if you don't. I guess you missed me purchasing the hulk 181 CGC 9.0. Had to have a copy of that book. It has great centering and white pages.
Im building up my books so I can sell them all and buy a copy of Captain America Comics #1. I'm kidding but if I could I would. Think just owning that book alone would be fine with me. __________________

Holy Crap.... Hulk #181 9.0!??!
Wow bro, that's a freakin awesome key issue to have!!
White pages too!?! Icing on the cake, SWEET!
OK here is what I want to send to Chandler, but I added it up and it came out to $1300.
So yeah, I'm going to have to remove 90% ha ha.
Look over the list, what sticks out to you that should get done?
Not that I will take your advice lol, but just curious on your thoughts. In the end it just comes down to what I want the most & how much extra cash I got which is on low already with SDCC coming up.

Well I definitely would do the #110,111 and 113. A Gene Colan sig is a must.I missed out on a DD #43 CGC 9.2 on ebay that went for $54. Pissed!! That's a lot of books you have planned!! Romita on the 193 is pretty cool also.
Not sure if you have a Mcfarlane sig yet but that's a must for me also. I think I have my fill of Stan sigs at this point. Plus the cost is getting to be a little much.
I'm sending him my Cap #116 for Colan,Simon and Sinnott. My #110 for Steranko,Simon and Sinnott. I think I will send a Cap print of for a few sigs and a Cap cover recreation for sigs. __________________

Sam! He said no problem if you want the book. He said just post a "I will take it" for that book and he will ship it right to you. Let me know what you want to do. __________________

Nice Simon's Tim!!!
Dude I just saw your post on the Zeck thread that you forgot!
Damn dude, I wish I put in a request for a sketch, cause if I made it on I would just pass the opportunity to you.
I was considering getting another Zeck sketch, but with SDCC around the corner I don't have the funds for it.
So I did PM Dan, but it was only to get my Secret Wars HC signed and remarked. No SS slabs for me this time around from Zeck.
I have plenty of comics I want signed from him, just can't afford it right now.
I hope Zeck didn't fill up before you PM'd Dan.
Very possible, because
a) Like me, with SDCC 2 weeks away people don't have $250 to spend on Zeck.
or
b) Also very possible, maybe many people forgot.
So I hope it all works out for you.
In the end if it filled up, hey you know Dan will probably have this opportunity many more times in the future.

Alright, that's awesome Tim!!!
I have a few slabs to add to this thread, just haven't had time to take pics of them yet.
I wish I still had that large scanner but I returned it, so I will have to go back to taking pics of my newer slabs for now.

Joe Simon was at Comic-Con back in 1997 or 1998. While I got some great photos, I never got a signature. While I'm not big on signatures, like Dell said, how can a Cap fan NOT have a Joe Simon signature?
Because of his age, I don't think Simon is coming to the west coast again any time soon and some of these CGC things might be a little pricey for me. But, at Comic-Con, Titan Books had 50 early copies of the very thick book THE SIMON & KIRBY SUPERHEROES.
Half of the book I already have in other books but it covers many of the non-DC & Marvel superheroes S&K did like The Fly, Fighting America, Stuntman, and more. Even some pre-Cap #1 stories. Considering that for the same money ($50), Marvel would give you half the pages in a Masterwork, the real kicker was it was pre-signed by Neil Gaiman and Joe Simon. SOLD!! __________________

I still need to take some pics to add to this thread....

OK finally took some time to take some pics of my latest Cap CGC books....
Cap #115
Cap #122
Cap #267
Spider-Man #323 (Cap on cover)
This is an upgrade to my 9.4.
I bought this 9.6 for Todd McFarlane to sign at SDCC, so it's at CGC right now awaiting the yellow label.
Bob Layton Cap sketch
This is also at CGC right now, a Cap head sketch from Neal Adams done at SDCC....
