Joel Gretsch (the main actor in "the 4400" telefilm) is Steve Rodgers' twin! For me he looks perfect for the role of Captain America in the First Avenger: Captain America movie!! He looks fine. I won't say I'm overwhelmed by him, but I wouldn't kick him out of the pool if he's in the pool. As always it's going to have be a question of his acting ability. Which I am guessing given the 4400's critical reception isn't too bad. I think his face is a little weathered in the photos you posted to portray a fresh faced steve rogers in 1941, but that can likely be fixed with lighting and make up, and that sheen of innocence would likely be worn away by 1945, anyway. So, yep, he's a looker. Is there any information on him as a possibility or is this just your own feeling and opinion?

4400 was a awesome show. Stupid USA network canceled it. He was also in a Stephen Speilburg TV mini series about alien abductions I thought was really cool on the sci-fi channel. __________________ See Superherouniverse.com for lots more stuff on superheroes. 4400 was good for a while, but the last couple of seasons (especially the last one) the show seemed to go downhill. I didn't care for the storylines anymore.

Actually, there's no info regarding the casting. Joel Gretsch really looks like Steve Rodgers and also, if you watch "the 4400", his role has got an attitude very similar to Cap. This last point is very interesting because Cap is the leader of the Avengers and he cannot be too much younger or less charismatic then Iron Man (Robert Downey jr) !

Just to be a comic geek, Cap doesn't become the leader of the Avengers until after Iron Man Leaves. Cap leads the Hawkeye, Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver Avengers. Ironman is still the leader of the Avengers when they find cap, and through the Namor Hulk battle. It is only after Iron Man and the Original Avengers go their seperate ways that the new younger avengers take on the mantle.
