Knowing that the "Big 3" have always been Cap, Thor and Iron Man and with the upcoming Avengers movie (after Cap, Thor and IM2), who do you guys think would be the 4th member or next recruit in the movie?  I was curious to see who u guys think would be the most logical or preferred choice in the movie.   Personally, I'm going with Hawkeye.
If anyone is having trouble remembering all the members of the Avengers (and there have been many),here's a list of the main movers and shakers:

Wasp
Hulk
Giant Man/Yellowjacket/Antman/Goliath
The Vision
Hawkeye
Scarlet Witch
Black Panther
Quicksilver
The Falcon
Wonder Man
Ms. Marvel
Black Widow
Spider-woman
War Machine

It would be nice to see Wasp & Giant Man in there.

Money wise though, I think it wouldn't be too expensive to put Hawkeye & Black widow in there instead.

Since they just made a Hulk movie, the hulk will probably be in there as well.

I think I'd have to go with Hank Pym as Giant Man.

Followed by Wasp and Vision.

The big three, Iron man, Cap and Thor, would be technology, human experience and religion, all aspects or metaphors of modern civilization.
Scarlet Witch, would be the chaos factor,
Giant man, human frailities,
Wasp, wealth and prosperity,
Vision, stability and logic,
and Hawkeye (or the Beast), sarcasm and ridicule.

Personally, I would like the Black Widow, but Scarlet Witch was more dangerous and unpredictable.  I'm debating whether Hawkeye or the Beast should be added, Hawkeye, tradition, sarcastic, but the Beast could add some Xmen to the team, and he is or could be just as fun as Hawkeye.

I like Beast as a option and I really like Kelsey Grahamer's Beast in X3, but unfortunally I think there is a rights issue involved with X-men properties and what Marvel has going on now. I would like to see it though.

I definately think Hawkeye should, and will be a member of the team for the movie. I remember reading--and I think I posted it on here too--that Hawkeye as well as the Black Widow were confirmed for Iron Man 2 and their roles would be much more than cameos. I think that both of those characters will be in the Avengers movie, but Black Widow won't be a member, instead she'll be working for S.H.I.E.L.D.

I like the idea of Vision for a sequel. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver might could appear in an x-men film, or maybe that Magneto movie they're working on, before they become Avengers. Black Panther should have his own movie. The Falcon should remain only in Cap films. Wonder Man might also be a good storyline for a sequel. Also, War Machine should be left completely out. One iron man is enough.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would be fighting for that chaos or unpredictable spot, then again, QS could complain about the Vision and SW union, like wise Wonder-man, who would be in that logic, or straight man (would work great with the Beast) spot.

Ever notice that the Vision and Scarlet Witch is Marvel's version of Casper, the friendly ghost, and Wendy, the good little witch.  Wonder-man and the Beast would be the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis combo.

I think Hawkeye is needed for the movie too, but I don't want too many characters making the movie too hard to follow so as long as we get our big 3 and a couple more, that would suit me fine. They can add more in the sequels.

I think the chances of Wonder Man being in any movie any time soon are nil.  The name "Wonder Man", whatever you feel about the character, is awful.  Don't hold your breath.

They'd be stupid NOT to put Hawkeye in.  He's a popular character that can easily add to the plot, and requires much less in the special effects department than most other Avengers.

With Tony Stark's appearance at the end of Incredible Hulk, I think it's a pretty good bet the jolly green giant will be in the Avengers.

Black Widow seems like a lock, and can maybe even be a love interest for Cap.

Beast would be great, but as was said, I'm pretty sure 20th Century Fox has him covered.  Tigra might be able to fill in, though.

A possibility could be that the threat that brings the team together is the arrival of alien Mar-Vell, who inadvertantly gives powers to Carol Danvers... but that might be too close to Rise of the Silver Surfer.

According to Wikipedia (a questionable source at best), the Avengers movie will feature Iron Man, War Machine, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and Cap.  Not a single chick on the team.

I'd like to see Mar-Vell in a sequel. They could do the Kree-Skull War. Oh and Rick Jones should be included as an Avenger too. He should definately be a member of the team.

I wish Rick Jones would have shown up on the Hulk movie.

Since Wasp and Giant Man were there when Captain America was resurrected, it should be the two of them.  If there were a new X Men movie, it would be great to introduce the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, as they were mutants Magneto had under his wing and tried to woo back as they became Avengers.

Okay, so my last Avengers cast wish would be to have the big 3,
Giant Man
Wasp
Vision
Hawkeye
Black Widow

In addition to Thor, IM, and Cap I would think that Hulk will be there.  He is already out in the movies and was part of the original forming.  I would be greatly disappointed if Hank(either Giant or Ant) would be there with Wasp (prior rumors of Evan Longoria).  It would not be hard to add Black Widow to the mix depending on her portrayal in IM2.  I can see them adding maybe Hawkeye (if he shows up in IM2 this is easier), but adding too many new characters would be tough.  I would think they would stick to the Founders to keep the story easier to follow.

The Hulk is scheduled to be in the Avengers movie as he is part of the current Marvel Studios line of Heroes.

Quck Silver and Scarlet Witch are probably out, since I would wager the rights to those characters went with the X-Men to 20th Century Fox for that Series.  They cramed a lot of Mutants with no lines but a quick glimpse of their powers into those movies, so it's entirely possible there was a quick silver or scarlet witch placeholder in there so they could hold onto the characters.

I had heart that Ant-Man and the Wasp were on deck for the film, or possibly a movie of their own, but that's just scuttlebut.

The original avengers are Thor, Hulk, Ironman, and Ant man and the wasp.  I think they are likely to stick with those, although how they fit in Hank and Janet isn't immedeatly clear.

I figure they probably won't be introduced until the Avengers movie, and they will probably play up the crazy on Hank (much like they did in the Ultimates).  Also, I wonder if Cap will be a big part of the Avengers film, or if he's just the prize at the end, and he get's his big run in Avengers II.

I would have been cool to have Hawkeye in Ironman II since they are having the Black Widow in that, but alas, not so much, but you should definatly watch the credits for people's name you recognize, you never know when that background carnival performer will make a second big apperance.

Cap has to be in the Avengers movie. Avengers #4 was one of Avengers' greatest moments. The plan was to introduce Iron Man and the Hulk, ...soon Thor in his movie, then a Stand-alone Cap movie, ...and in Avengers, states that the world is filled with fantastic and wonderful heroes, and then along comes Captain America, who is the 'newbie' or 'that person that people follow into that world' theme.  The first Xmen movie had Rogue and Wolverine, the naive child and cynical man walking into the world of mutants and fantastic world.  Fishborne's character is like that to reintroduce the audience to CSI.  Even Reeve's character Neo introduces the audience into the world of the Matrix.
Avengers would be a group of rich celebrities, Stark and Dyne, super scientists, Banner and Pym, and a god, Thor.  Cap's that everyman, born in New York, joins the army, becomes a hero, and brought into the modern world by the Avengers.  This way, Captain America 2 wouldn't have to deal with that and go into the Cap and Falcon team.
Also, I don't think Hawkeye and Rick Jones are popular enough to be that 'newbie' character.
It's a shame that they can't slip in some Mutants, gives the Avengers some ties to the Xmen universe.
Hopefully my speculations won't filter out to millions and ruin whatever was planned for the Avengers movie.  When making the Wraith of Khan, rumors of Spock's death got leaked out, which led to that opening scene where the entire crew died and turning it into a test, just to ruin that rumor, and then it became true when Spock did die at the end of the movie.
