You all may have already seen this pics floating around but notice Wolverine getting off a boat in WW2. Wonder if Cap makes a cameo?

I didn't even know a Wolverine Movie was in Production...I don't know if Marvel has reclaimed the rights to Wolverine, given that I think that's Hugh Jackman up there, I'm guessing they haven't and as such this is a Fox project with Marvel Studios as a minor partner.  As such, it's unlikely that the movie rights to Cap will even be loaned to Fox for this movie, and we are much less likely to see any cute references to other Marvel items (with the exception of the X men or possibly spider-man) in this film.

THat's always the problem with film rights, every company or even production wants the ability to draw upon the entire universe for it's cameos and characters, but the rights just never go through.

Even DC, where Warner Brothers exclusivly owns everything can't get Wonder Woman or Bat Man on Smallville.

As such you'll get cap refernces in the Hulk, Ironman, and Thor Movies, but probably not in this one.

Of course I could be wrong.

It would fit perfect to have Cap show up on the beach scene in WW2. Who knows maybe a few strings can be pulled. Even if it's just a shadow of Cap or something like that it would be cool, even a verbal reference to show he's there would be better than nothing.

There probably could be verbal references, mentions of super soldiers etc. But these properties are closely guarded, and they don't want either over saturation or noncanonical references that disrupt other planned work.

That even happens in the books.

There is the possibility that something can be worked out, but since I belive paramount has the distribution on Cap, there is little reason for Fox to promote someone elses blockbuster that will likely competeing with their own (Maybe Spiderman 4?)

Yes, Cap and Wolverine in  a side by side is perfect, especially if (as has been done) they explore Logan as a Canadian Secret Agent during WWII.  But, I think it's much more likely you'll see a run in with Magneto or Charles Xavier then with Cap.  Now, what you might see, and this is where there is wiggle room in this.  If as Wolverine gets off the boat you see the blond soldier next to him is Named Rogers, and the younger soldier next to him is named Barnes, that might be a little bone to toss to the fans.  But something like that would be noncanonical with the eventual Cap Movie, and for fear that such an action would result in legal action either against the Wolverine Film or against the Captain America film things like that might just be skipped.

You are probably more likely to see a young Ben Parker, or a somber soldier named Wayne then you are to see Cap.

It would be ten kinds of cool if he was there, but I'm not holding out much hope.  We're just going to have to wait for the next Marvel Studios film to get the next Cap Easter Egg.

Sorry, but Cap and Wolverine side by side isn't a bad idea.
The downfall is, the story will need to be re-created if Wolverine was in the picture. And consider this:

Which explains the uprise:

So exactly.
And I do agree Matches. They could work something out.
And wait, Matches, I can't see a blond guy, they have helmets on...?
And yes, they should make a movie of Cap VS Wolverine. I'd pay to see that.
And Tim, I thought it over.
Wolverine is probaly having flashbacks...maybe? Eh?
And who's going to play Cap in the avengers movie?
The same guy? Won't it be hard to switch from the First Avenger and the Avengers.

Good point about the helmets, but you could always see the eyebrows.

It would be cool to see CAP in the Wolverine movie, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen. Fox has the rights to everything X-Men, Sony has everything Spiderman, and Marvel has the rights to CAP. It would be cool though.

Don't know about this Wolverine movie though. Seems like too many mutants for not just being X-Men. I would rather it have the tone like the Wolverine mini-series. Also, Liev Schriber is playing Victor Creed and he doesn't look like he lifted one weight training for this part. That really bugs me. Hope it turns out well though. I am looking forward to Ryan Reynolds Deadpool cameo though.
