Being a recovering wrestling addict myself, I have indeed considered them. As good an "actor" as Cena may be, and as much as I like the guy, NO ONE is going to take the movie seriously if a wrastler is the title role. All things being equal, if Cena's a no-name guy without the wrestling fame, he gets the role. He's got the chin, the jaw, the physique, and the eyes. The reason that The Rock has been the only successful crossover guy is because he completely divorced himself from the industry and became a full-fledged action star in the running for Black Adam (inspired choice, btw). As for HHH, I'd also tend to agree. Lord knows he has the look of Ultimate Thor, and the voice. But again, he's so tied to the industry that no one will take him seriously, no matter how seriously he takes the role. As far as acting goes, he's tops in the business right now, no doubt. But as much as it hurts me to say it, wrestling will always carry the stigma of being a male soap opera.
