Yeah, I am really interested this game. CAP is all over the game and especially the commercials for it. They start with the character's people know really well like Spidey, then go to a fan favorite like Wolverine, and they show the man of marvel, our buddy CAP (they show a little Thor too). I told you CAP was everywhere these days. Marvel really know's how to market their characters.

The only thing is, I don't see the Hulk on this clip. He's like one of the major ones. What's up with that. At least they got Cap, the Thing, Spider-Man, and Wolverine, but it would have been perfect with the Hulk. __________________
I'm sure the Hulk is in it, but he maybe some sort of secret weapon, or maybe like the last guy you have to beat in order to beat the game. I'm sure it's something like that.

I don't know the last game I got with all the Marvel Heroes only had the Hulk in one of the story scenes. You couldn't actually play him. __________________
I have the game. It is SO Sweet. Love playing as Cap in a modern version of a game. The mini-movie sequences starring cap in Ultimates-style uniform are so realistic, it gives me great hope to see Ultimate Cap version in a movie. If you don't have it ... go out and get it! how many superheroes are in it? I've heard 2 different things, and is the Hulk anywhere in it? __________________
Haven't seen Hulk in the game ... yet. There are several unlockable "mystery" characters, maybe Hulk is one of them. I know for sure that Daredevil and Blade are two of the unlockable characters. I unlocked Dr. Strange so far. TONS of heroes to choose from, New Avengers, Fan Four, Cable and some other randoms like Ms. Marvel and Luke Cage. __________________

Awesome, Luke Cage was one of my favorites when I was a kid from the comic book Power Man and Iron Fist. __________________
Don't wait till Christmas, dude. The game rocks the bacon right now. Still have to unlock DD and possibly Moon Knight. Looks like Black Panther is in the mix too. __________________

I bought it already, but I'm going to wrap it up and call a gift for me and my kid. Don't have enough money to buy a bunch of gifts. Dog gone it, I hate budgeting. __________________
I just unlocked Ghost Rider, Blade and Nightcrawler. Because I'm playing in the demonic Mephisto's realm level, I've gone with a bad-ass line up of Cap plus: Ghost Rider, Blade and Wolvie/Elektra.
In the early levels I did a New Avengers line up of Cap, Spidey, Wolvie and Iron Man, but its fun to see the darker heroes do their thing with their swords, blades and guns.
Still have not seen Moon Knight or Punisher. No Hulk either, but it doesn't mean they're not in there. __________________

So it doesn't give a complete list anywhere of the heroes inside?

Hulk is not in the game and neither is cable or the punisher.Moon knight,colossus are in next gen consoles(ps3,nintendo wii,xbox 360)hawkeye is in the regular playstation version.If you look up marvel ultimate alliance on google.com they have a few web sites that show who is in the game.Its a great game and very addictive if you like marvel heroes.Cap is great in it.I can tell you it has over 20 characters on ps 2.I used a cheat guide online to unlock all the characters and their costumes.Heres a list of heroes,Cap,black panther,daredevil,iron man,spiderman,thing,torch,stretcho,invisible woman,iceman,wolverine,storm,ms.marvel,spiderwoman,elektra,blade,dr.strange,ghostrider,thor,silver surfer,nick fury(original and ultimates)deadpool,and a list of heroes that are non playable,vision,black widow,sub-mariner,night crawler,the inhumans,henry pym(no ant man or giant man).Havent seen wasp,iron fist,cyclops,jean grey,rogue or other x-men.Bruce banner is in it but only as himself.All ultimate costumes ar available as are classic.Thor has a beta ray bill character in his and iron man has the war machine character and spidey with his iron costume.

Awesome, thanks Cap17, I'm a little disapointed that the Hulk isn't in there, but I guess you can't have every thing. I wonder why they didn't put him in there.
I wish they wouldn't withold some heroes from the Playstation 2 while putting them on other systems. That's another puzzler.
Well here's some links to the amazon pages of Marvel Ultimate Aliance for anybody who is reading this and wants to pick up the game.
I can't believe I missed this one. I love this game. Beat it on hard twice and going through a third time on hard. Now I have to level up my charachters to beat the comic missions to unlock Silver Surfer and all the costumes.
My Daughter is 7 and we have played through on easy level and now we are working on normal. She plays Invisible Woman and I play Cap.

Tim, he isn't a playable in the original. However, you can buy him via x-boxlive (360 only) with 7 other characters. Or more recently, in a "gold edition" if you don't subscribe.

OH! Are YOU in for a treat. Luke's finisher/smash attack (grab, press B) is the best and most ruthless by far.
(clearing throat)
1. Grab opponent by the neck
2. Smash his face into the ground.
3. repeat step 2, increasing speed and frequency till finished.
Colossus and Hulk both have pretty awesome finishers too. They grab an opponent by the front of the neck, and proceed to use them like a monkey-fisted baseball bat.

I got sso many cheat codes, I unlocked infite health, all charactors, all levels, every picture, all people level 99 and more!!!
