Captain America Trailer HD
We're working on a much larger trailer, so this is just some teaser footage. Do you guys like what you see? I'm getting a lot of complaints about the shield. As hard as we tried, we couldn't get the concentric circles to look good on the lid we were using. Enjoy!

It's in HD, so press the watch high quality option below the player.

It IS REALLY, REALLY good! I just hope the movie has him in costume rather tham looking like Ultimates Cap, which you seemed to have portrayed.
Yes, I know it make a lot more sense to have someone who is in combat wearing traditional gear but a big part of what made Cap such a symbol to everyone, especially the fighting man was that he literally looked like the flag we were defending Kicking Axis BUTT!

Yeah, this got to be the best version of fan made trailers YET.

Wow, thanks guys! This is the best reaction I've had to the teaser so far. I'm glad our work is appreciated by the fans. If you really want to help us out, forward this teaser to pals and fans. We're trying to get as many views as possible.

JBB, if we could pull off the classic look, I would've definitely gone for it. In fact during pre-productions, we bought a blue wetsuit from a local Goodwill store to see if that would work. Unfortunately, it made our Steve Rogers look more Spiderman in terms of muscle. The best we could do is go with a vintage WWII look on steroids. At first we tried sewing red and white strips on the torso of the jacket but it just didn't look right. We tried to make up for it by strapping red and white banana clip bags to the front of his belt. We diverged from the comic book version a lot, but all of us felt like we made a very excellent costume that fits perfectly within a WWII timeframe. By the way, here's a few high res images from our footage:

Here's an untreated still featuring a victorious Cap and cowering Bucky, who is abused throughout the trailer

Two more untreated stills. Redskull interrogates Bucky. There was no way we could make an authentic looking Redskull on our budget. Our villain is just a psycho closet-case SS officer that uses a skull mask to hide a bad skin condition:

And to throw a bit of humor in the mix:

Bucky wasn't, and never was a coward. He foguht with Cap and risked his life like the others.
