Eckhart Wants to be Captain America... Or Green Lantern??

Captain America OR Green Lantern! I don't think so buddy, you just shot yourself in the foot. You don't make alternate choices with CAP. It's CAP or nothing for me. Be a fan first, not just an a-hole actor looking for a film franchise. I'm insulted.

Well, maybe I was a bit hard on the guy. I mean, I have know problem with him as an actor at all and I don't know him personally so I can't say I have a problem with him at all. I just don't think he's right for the part. I think he could be in the movie as a doctor or something, but not CAP himself.

He just know's a good movie idea when he sees one and I can't blame the guy for wanting to be part of the Greatest American Super Hero. Can't blame him at all for that. I respect his decision. He just won't be, and that's fine.

Has anyone's opinion on Eckhart changed after the Dark Knight?  Obviously Harvey Dent and Steve Rogers are different characters but he certainly did a good job.

Haven't seen TDK yet. Was going to check out the midnight showing on Thursday night until I heard about the legions of fans that had been waiting all day to get tickets. I'll probably see it on Sunday. I'd wait in that line for a CAP movie, but that's about it.
