Yeah, but I don't want to have Captain America associated with Bradd Pitt and his weirdo wife and their 9,000 kids.

It's not my idea, but i agree with a IMDB commentator would suggested Paul Walker from the fast and the furious.

IMDB - Paul Walker

But...

I must say Phate... DAMN YOU FOR BEING RIGHT!!! I say this because after watching the Rundown with Neal McDonough, I never want to see him play a protagonist ever! He's just so... evil.

Both these guy would be great. The actings there, they're not huge like Robert Downey JR(not to say that he was a bad choice, on the contrary, he IS Tony Stark!) and they both could use a "Spartan workout". I would still pick Walker over McDonough because, well, I always imagined Cap with a bit of a country accent and he has it natural. I just pray they don't screw it up. I still can't get clean from the 80s flicks

I think the most important thing is Cap's image. As long as the actor is built well (and I agree he shouldn't be really big) and looks athletic and strong when he moves, then that part will be beleivable. He just needs to have that pure-hearted, wise, battle-tested, "Greatest Generation", commanding air about him. That's why I think Leo's too young. Pitt's too "Ocean's 11" cool, and Mark Valley is just a little on the pretty side (although I could live with him). To me, Cap needs a little more leather to him. I don't know what his contract will or won't allow him to do but I'm just stuck on Eckhart for the role. Just take a look at his mug in the mask:

Apologies to Harvey Dent

i still think that brad pitt might be the perfect choice and what the hell does his crazy ass wife have to do with his acting. im not a huge pitt fan i think i said that before. i just think that he could pull of a 30 something year old soldier from the 1940s. he has everything that cap would be if pit was in shape like i said before from troy. not really huge like arnold in his hay day but the guy was built pretty well for troy. i also think that leo is too young and small, if not pitt then maybe matt damion. he has shown he has some moves with the bourne trilogy. and quite possibly the captain america build. for me he would be my second choice.

Look Who311, theres many people or actors who want to be Captain America, no offnese but right now there's probaly about 2,000 men/actors who wanna play cap right now, your one of them. Look, people want Matt Damon to play, people want Mathew M. and others want somebody else. Personally, well all i got to say is...Who311 you got my vote!

Oh and, uh, about Paul Walker being Cap,

Paul Walker is in like the today's voilence, not like what WWII voilence is about, you know.

That guy looks like that guy who played in Hancock? Anyways Casper Van Dien would be a perfect Cap, he looks like Cap, he has the right build, plus Military experience.
