Anyone on this site reads Spidey books?
By now I figured everyone learned that Mephisto (the devil) wiped out Spidey's marriage with Mary Jane so that Aunt May won't die of a sniper bullet that was meant for Spidey.  With the marriage dissintegrated, Harry Osborn returned to life, Spidey doesn't have all those extra spidey powers (Tentacles, talons, faster reflexes, organic web, etc), his identity is secret once again and Mary Jane is still alive, but parted ways and Peter doesn't have that divorce/widow stigma.
I liked it because of all those reasons, and MJ was getting boring as a supporting character, but I didn't like the fact that Mephisto was in that story, since Spiderman's life is about human responsibilities and consequences, and there is no person or God to blame or credit for what you do and live.
I would have preferred that while trying to work the magics of Dr. Strange that he accidently wiped out that marriage and Brand new day was Spidey/Peter's responsibility.  Or Tony Stark/Iron man using the resources of Shield and the US government wipe out any records of Spidey's identity and give Parker a new identity and job outside of New York (Eventually he'll return and cause problems).  Anybody out there have any ideas?

I do.

Buuut I don't necessarily agree with those storyline idea things. Those woulda' been insult to injury with what was happening to his Aunt May...But that's just what I think.

And Spidey never had tentacles or talons...I think you're thinking of those stingers that came from his wrists.

I'm not worried about the whole power thing...Yet.
I read somewhere they'll explain how the 'Brand New Day' version of 'The Other' went, sometime soon.

And that it's not to say that the same thing won't happen again...Can anyone say, "Foreshadowing"?

Sorry, do not like the Brand new day stuff. It makes Spiderman.. well a fantasy story. Mmm readers do not like the way things are going in _______ (your favorate book), lets get "M" in here and wish it away.
