As for the proper placement of what story goes where, I think it's clear that part two of The Confession was a flashback.  Since I don't read Avengers, I don't know how Ms. Marvel figured that Cap was alive... but as we all know, not everything in the MU makes all that much sense, especially time and space.

It would be a nice change of pace though, wouldn't it?
