What did you guys think of movie: The Shooter? I really liked Marky Mark in the title role in this film, but I want to know what you all thought about the ending. I was brought up reading comics like Batman, which teaches that a hero should never take personal vengeance against an enemy, but rather let the law have final say in regards to punishment and time served. At first, I was really bothered by the ending of this film, but after I watched it again, I think maybe Mark only did what he had to do to protect himself and the girl. Any thoughts?

heck yes, he did the right thing or the General(danny glover) wouldn't have stopped coming for him...i thought they did a really good job with the film, some of my infantry buddies i work with said they did some of the right things in the film as far as what infantry do...

Personally, I like endings where the hero beats the bad guy in more of a self defense kind of way not a sneaking up on them thing like they did in that movie. It was a pretty good movie over all. I gotta rent it. I keep hearing that it's good, and now it's mentioned on here, so word of mouth is best way to get the real low down.

I rented it. I liked it. It was good. Nice to see the main character being a Marine didn't hurt either. What was with Danny Glover's voice though? A buddy of mine told me he had Braces on his teeth. It was pretty annoying, but I liked it.
