Here's a thought--since Hillary Swank will be in the Iron Man movie for a cameo, and it seems clear Sam Jackson will be Nick Fury, could Swank be Carter?
That would play well if they had a two time oscar winner playing the female lead in the upcoming Captain America movie.

I think I may have found someone to play Cap.
Nathan Fillion. He was the lead on a show/movie called Firefly. I think he's got the look and the attitude to play a pretty good Cap.

I have said it before that our very own Wade is/would be a great choice for sure, get Blonde=get Cap, Wade. Hilary Swank, not a bad idea either.

Sorry for putting this one off Corporal. Hilary Swank wouldn't have been my first choice but if she got into Million Dollar Baby shape, I'd be for it. She is a great actress. I like that she is not teenager. As a SHIELD agent, don't think Sharon Carter should be played by somebody who looks like they just graduated from high school.

Now, if Capwriter reads this he may not be too happy. A few years back, I think he was pushing Will Estes to play CAP, but I actually read with him at an audition and helped him do some military training for actors. He was really receptive and did not have an attitude at all. I would say he was an overall good guy, but he is pretty small, and therefor is not in the realm to play CAP, but I do think he would make a good bucky.
What do you think?

Whoever plays Sharon Carter should be willing to go through some serious combat training to effectively play the role. She's gotta have some sand to stand toe to toe with Cap. That said, here's a list of blonde actresses in Hollywood that are over 25.

From the list you gave, I think Ali Larter is the best choice. She seems tough to me. Of course Jessica Biel is a good choice from the discription you gave, but she is a bit young looking for my taste. For the character that is, not personnally. That is why I think Hilary Swank is not a bad choice. I buy here being tough, and she can get in great shape. He had a killer bod in Million Dollar Baby, and like I stated before, she is the right age, or at least looks it. I'm not really too keen on the other choices, but I don't think that the actress that is picked HAS to be blond. That is like picking the CAP actor only because he has blond hair (ah hem, Matt Damon, Jason Lewis). As long as the actress commits to the role and does all the physical, and has the right persona (and pretty, but does not have to be knockout, but prettier than ole Kirsten Dunst) then of course all that is left is their on screen chemistry with me!

WH, no disrespect, but are you saying that Hilary Swank is better looking than Kirsten Dunst? Sorry, but Hilary's horse teeth just weird me out. I've never found her attractive, and I laughed my ass off when Jimmy Fallon played her on Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL years ago.
I like Julia Stiles as Sharon, and Jessica Beil as the Black Widow. Get both in the flick!
