You mean the fan trailer? http://www.captain-america.us/fanfilm.htm

It got taken down from Google video and I haven't heard anything since.

Not to bad that, the uniform is not that great, but fair play for having a go.

Oh so its only a trailer? Not an actual short film? Kinda like "Grayson".

I think so, they may have been more they were planning on doing, but I have the feeling they've abandoned any further work on it.

Now that I think about it, I think they did say they wanted to redo the trailer, but I haven't heard anything forever.

hi guys, kyle here (director) we are in the process of re-shooting, no we have not abandoned, we are still moving forward, we ran into some problems that caused us to postpone filming, we are re-doing some of the costume (sield and smaller bits of costume) we are taking capwriters script and adding it to the first 50 or so ultimate cap comic, and mixing them up. this will be a film, but a short film, not a trailer. if this works out i will continue the next stage where he is found and wake up, if you guys are interested you can help out by going to ebay and buying my kick azz WWII cap shields i made, i made a bunch of them and am now selling a few to kick the filming into hard core...
thanks for being here for the film... and it will go forward, i dont want this to be a crappy short where people would rather rip out there eye balls and flush them down the crapper... so stay with me and stay true to what cap is...
oh and the trailer was made to show people what the ideas were about, not as a finished product.
and feel free to throw out some ideas you may have, but in the end, he who makes the film has final say over how the film looks...

I saw this today and thought this was a possible mention of Cap. But he's not a mutant. BUT Cap & Wolverine do have a past...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is set to star Jackman and will be directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition). The producers are Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter (who produced all three previous "X-Men" films), along with Jackman and his Seed Prods. producing partner, John Palermo. The film will be executive produced by Marvel Films' Kevin Feige.

Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine – written by David Benioff (The Kite Runner, Troy) – tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

I want a Cap film that doesn't leave out the acrobatic and martial arts aspects of cap.  The thing about Cap's background is that he's trained in all forms of combat.  Not exclusively judo and kick boxing.

This is the guy that's supposed to rival the agility of Spiderman.  The endurance of Hercules.  The strength of an (modern) olympic weightlifter.  Heck, everything of an olympian.

Best swimmer, sprinter, jumper... And Wrestling.

Find one fight between Cap and a Big Mo-fo that he doesn't say something like "with the right leverage even a (so-in-so) can overcome a foe."

I want to see the same agility as that of Ultimates2 Cap in issue one.  He takes on 3 extremists at the same instant.

Boot to the face, Boot to the face, Snap the neck.

Uh, not the killing though.

So that was you selling those shields? I'd probably buy one from you, man. Serious business.
