I haven't seen it, but by just looking at pictures of it it looks really good, this picture really makes you want to watch it!

By the way Tim, can you tell me of a site other than Amazon that I can get the 90s Captain America movie, I don't like getting used things and the only new Captain America movie is $120!

To be honest with you. I would refuse to pay more than 10 bucks for this film. I'd say like the first 10 minutes are all you need to see from this film.

Not very good at all.

It was not the best and I would not go as far as to say I rate it, but there have been worse, its entertaining, probably the "best"way to describe it.imho.

I agree. It's worth the watch, but don't spend all your money on it... I have it on tape, but mostly as a collecters item. Like having the 70'ies cartoon. But it has SOME qualities, and the skull is pretty villiany -  But he ain't no Captain America.

Fox tv sometimes aires that 90s Cap movie late night, so save your money and sacrifice some shut eye to watch this train wreck.  If not, check out some big name vhs video store and rent it for less than 5 bucks (Even then I'll tell you not to spend that much money).
Not to watch:  Steel, Captain America (90s movie), Catwoman, Corman's Fantastic Four (90s movie), Electra, Punisher (90s movie with Dolph Lundren), All Teenage mutant ninja turtles live action movies, Batman 2 - 4 and Superman 3 - 4.

For the most part, it's of poor quality...but it DOES have a few cool moments;

1) Cap using his shield to take out the machine gun tower when he attacks the Skulls stronghold

2) Cap becoming visually uncomfortable when taking a ride in the GERMAN automobile, and listening to the JAPANESE stero system....that was a good "comic relief" moment.

Man, i HATED the actress' portrayal of Sharon Carter though...how about YOU guys? She wasnt even that hot...

Those are some good points. I'll have to watch it again. I haven't seen it since I was stationed in Okinawa in 1992.

Hi guys!

Been a while since I've posted.  I saw this thread and decided to get involved.

I watched the movie hoping for the best.  I wanted to like it.  But the Euro-disco 'babes' that were the Red Skull's daughters were beyond hokey.  The Sharon Carter/Bernie actress was horrid.  The director was horrible--he had such luminous films as cyborg 4 or some other direct to video movies.  Why someone like that gets work is beyond me.

I remember reading that some of the producers didn't want to use the Captain America costume in the movie.  Then, in the movie they hold the costume to open ridicule-excusing that its maker "sure is patriotic."

Overall it was kind of fun to see certain scenes.  But overall I hope it will be a distant, distant cousin to the movie they have in the works.
