My dreams have come true. So pumped

Quote:
here's tons of news coming out of Marvel's Comic Con panel as we speak, and we'll be bringing it all to you as it comes to us, but here are two small ones to start things off. The studio has announced official titles for two of their upcoming sequels! Coming November 8 next year will be Thor: The Dark World, and then April 4 of 2014 we'll be getting Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The Winter Soldier title is what really got the Hall H crowd excited, and you might need to know a little bit more about your comics to understand why-- the Winter Soldier is the identity taken on by Captain America's best friend and sidekick Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan) after he's brought back from supposed death. When we saw Bucky die in Captain America: The First Avenger a lot of people speculated that Winter Soldier might be in Bucky's future, and this title seems a pretty clear confirmation that a reunion with his old pal is in store for Captain America this time around.

As for Thor: The Dark World, that's more of a mystery. Any guesses are welcome in the comments. And for all the news from Marvel as it happens instantly, keep an eye on Eric's live blog.

I was hoping Winter Soldier would be the 3rd movie, the 2nd movie would be Cap's adventure in the modern world and cement him as America's number 1 hero (Sorry Supe).  Then Winter shows up and ruin everything (And possibly lead to a second trilogy of Cap movies with Winter becoming Cap).

Something like this would work well as a tv mini series liken to Spartacus.

I was think the 3rd movie as well. But either way, as long as it is good.

If this was the 70s, the Secret Empire/Nomad storyline would work, but all those conspiracy themes were done to death/boredom in the 90s (Xfiles and one Charlie Sheen forgettable movie, Conspiracy theory--maybe it was Mel Gibson movie??).

If it was the 80s, a movie based on that Stern/Byrne War and Remembrance would work.

I was hoping for that Waid/Garney's Operation: Rebirth.  Kubicult would be people seeking past leaders and views to fix today's problem; Sharon would represent today's generation who doesn't know how vile and evil Red Skull is, yet she's willing to work with him; And Cap would be someone who wants to live in the past but that cool Cosmic cube segment makes him realize he's needed for today's problems and accept the world around him.

Winter Soldier; Lukin, Russian soldier turned business man, buys up American businesses (Roxxon) during the economic downtimes to boost up America, but uses Winter Soldier to exact revenge and ruin America secretly.  Cap is involved when he learns that WS is his former partner from WW2 (Band of Brothers turned adversaries).

Could work, put in some explosions, action, danger and good lines/acting, it'll be a movie that'll even the Non-Cap fans would enjoy.

I'd like to see a lot of emotion go through Cap and the Winter Soldier since they have a lot of chemistry and all.

I think Falcon is a great character, I just don't know how they will get passed his costume.
