Those old actors really knew how to show their love and appreciation for America. I wonder, maybe, if it was because they lived through World War II and some through the Great Depression.
This next one really gets to me.
Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance
recorded in 1969 on CBS on the "The Red Skelton Show".
Great clip of John Wayne portraying my favorite real historic character and fictional hero of Superhero Universe Davy Crockett. This is from John Wayne's classic movie, The Alamo . Pay close attention to the middle where Crockett describes, "Republic".
Ronald Reagan - Man of faith
This was shown at my church Sunday morning.
Clips from the episode, "Night of the Decision" from One Step Beyond. One Step Beyond was like the Twilight Zone except it claimed to be based on fact not the imagination of a writer. This particular episode explores the amazing supernatural events that were said to surround George Washington. Did George Washington predict the Civil War and the expanse of America? What about the bullet holes that showed Washington should have been shot, when he was never wounded?
