So, being a slow news day....

What do you guys think:  Would Cap have the same mindset to fight for his country if he had a wife and kids?  Or would his priorities be a little different?   If this topic has been previously discussed, sorry I missed it.  I was just wondering what you guys think.   I'm not sure what road he'd go down.

I think he would because if I'm not mistaken a lot of guys who fought in World War II were a bit older than today's soldiers and had wives and kids already. But then again he might decide to retire at some point if his wife bugged him about it enough.

It's hard to say. Currently, Marvel had him starting out as Captain America aroung age 20 I guess (based on comment in Captain America & Bucky 620, where Steve observing Bucky says "He's a bit young, isn't he?" and the reply from the general with Steve is "He's sixteen . . . all of four years younger than you, Rogers."), so how many kids would he have had by then even if he was married?

If you gave him a family of his own, you'd have to age Steve Rogers, and I'm sure that more life experience would have colored how he acted / perceived things.
