Have not seen or heard about that, but it sounds horrible.

You all talking about this one http://superherouniverse.com/superheroes/marvel/captainamerica/na ...

All things considering I don't think the picture was bad. I think he created the entire Cap suit. I don't think he just stuck Crowes head on a Cap picture so I give it for time involved and creativity. Now maybe if it was an official movie poster you might could say it was bad, but for a fan pic I think it's pretty good. Worst thing I see is the head looks a little small.

To sort of drop back and punt I’ve followed this and the other discussion (recently). And while the idea of any wrestler gives me the creeps (shades of Reb Brown, ugh, shiver) and the thought of Adam Sandler leaves me cold, I can’t think of anyone who’s a natural choice. We might look to TV someone like David Boreanaz or someone. The physique wouldn’t be as much of a problem as someone with a lack of talent. Most actors if they want the part badly enough would be willing to work out and build up (ala Christopher Reeves). Maybe an unknown is the only route to go, I just hope the “powers that be” don’t mess Cap over.... again.

When i saw Cena playing THE MARINE i thought he was able to play CAPTAIN AMERICA roll. He is big, his face is like STEVE ROGERS´s in most of the comic books, he´s got muscles the way the cap has, very big arms over the rest of the body, his jaws, blue eyes, blond hair, all american look, his wrestler movements that inspired thousands of fighting scenes in comic books.
Now he is an actor i´m sure he can play this roll if people can forget his roll in WWE.

Too bad Cena is a complete nimrod of a wrestler. I would not be able to suspend my disbelief, no matter how much someone thinks he could play cap.

Maybe, but a little old to play young WW2 Cap but then Hollywood can make you look any age they want.

I know he is getting a little older, and it took me a while to warm up to the idea, but I just went back and watched "Troy" again and what Brad Pitt did for the role was awsome and he proved, tome at least, that he could fill the suit and has the chops to pull it off, but one time a while back, Wizard also suggested a guy by the name of Jason Lewis who could pull it off.  check him out.
