An interview I read talking about filming the Cap movie in 3d, in my opinion, I prefer HiDef and converted to 3d, this way on tv and Dvd, it won't look silly with 'objects' in front of the screen like watching reruns of Jaws3d.

I agree. I want to see a good movie in high def first. If I enjoy the movie enough, maybe later I would check out the 3-d version.

I was talking about this with some friends:  I don't think the story can be presented properly with 3d, and since 3d tv is not affordable yet, and there's not enough Dvds and stuff that support the system.  Is converting-to-3d a bad thing to you?
Hoping that 3d isn't a bells-and-whistle gimmick.  Still, it would be cool to see that shield come flying out at you.

It's gonna be 3D all the way, unfortunately. I think there will be digital 2D projection too, like they did for Toy Story 3. Samething on Avatar, although it's just not the same when it's not in 3D.

We'll see...
