Captain Samerica, I saw you on the G4 network's coverage of the Comic-Con and recognized your costume immediately.  I just wanted to confirm that it was you... Did you go to the Comic-Con in costume?  If so, then I saw you twice. One time you were standing next to Batman in a group.  Your costume is one of the best I've ever seen.  Hope it was fun!

Thanks!
Yes I was there, although I can't say for sure if you saw me or someone else on G4.
I was there in costume for one day.

The con was crazy!!! Man oh man, was it packed!!!
Did anyone see the Captain America movie shield on display on Sunday!??! What a surprise!
I got pics of it, will post later.

Right now I'm pooped as we just got back from the con this past Sunday. We made it a huge family trip and was in San Diego for over 2 weeks!
Besides Comic-Con, I took the kids to Legoland (twice), the SD Zoo (twice), SeaWorld (twice) Wild Animal Park, and so many more places. San Diego is just awesome, I didn't want to leave because we were having so much fun every day. So much to do in that city.

I recorded the G4 Live coverage. I'll have to look for you, Sam. They did talk to Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, and Joe Johnston.

Sam,
I think ServeAndProtect is right.
I believe it was a quick shot of you in costume as G4 was going to a commercial break.
Looked real good!
And...your costume IS Captain America!
Not that piece of crap with the red suspenders, brown boots and gloves, etc. that Johnston is shoving down our throats.

I like that shield. I missed it at Comic-Con. While the white is gone in favor of the metal's color, I like the fact that you can tell it is made of metal. It LOOKs tough and bulletproof.

If the shield is indestructible, how did they fix the straps to the back (in the comics)?

Good question, lol!

Hahaha too cool. I always wanted to meet Stan Lee.

Stan is going to be at the Fan Expo in Canada at the end of August (along with Adam West, Burt Ward, and William Shatner). I think this con puts limits on how much one can charge for meeting the celebrities.

Yes Stan will be at the Fan Expo in Canada and also at Dragon-Con in Atlanta early September.
Desert Wind Comics is producing private signings with Stan at both of these cons.
