America woke up in 2099?

After a slight hesitation, Cap and Howlett agree and command that all of the weapons of the Earth be firmly trained on the the rescuing aliens all the way through the escort and landing. The X-Jets escort the enormous oblong dreadnaughts to the barren deserts of Nevada. A horde of the world’s bravest journalists await the arriving ships with great anticipation.
The oblong UFOs land and a single ramp opens and touches the crusty ground. A tall, simply-clothed green-skinned alien with features similar to that of a human man approaches a U.N. delegation flanked by Cap and Howlett, who train their blaster rifles on him. The green-skinned alien identifies himself as Mak-tar, leader of his race of people.
Mak-tar explains that his people have been warring with the Zitoks for a millennium and that the Grays started exploring other systems in the universe to reproduce and conquer once they saw they could not win the war. Mak-tar pledges to rid the Earth of lingering Grays and to offer future protection against the Grays in the future. The U.N. delegation asks how it could ever show gratitude to Mak-tar and his people. All Mak-tar asks for in exchange is a container of Earth’s ocean water for examination and scientific study with follow-up visits to Earth for the study of marine life and deep sea exploration. Mak-tar promises to deliver “the good package,” that will help the earth heal itself of extinction, pollution and ozone layer damage by dropping the package into the deepest part of the ocean.
“I think we can swing that,” Howlett cracks with his usual bravado. Cap takes the more dignified approach by lowering his rifle and saying that the people of Earth would be happy to host Mak-tars scientists for any peaceable and mutually beneficial scientific exploration. With that, Cap shakes hands with Mak-tar in the most famous photo-op in the history of the world.
Shortly after, Fury and Valentine arrive on the scene. Fury and the U.N. delegation board Mak-tar’s ship to further discuss a peace treaty while Valentine jumps into Cap’s arms and kisses him passionately. At the top of the ramp, Mak-tar looks over his shoulder at Cap and Valentine and tells the delegation “I didn’t think your people needed help reproducing anyway.”
Cap pulls out the letter he wrote to Valentine while on the reconnaissance mission. She hurriedly reads through his description of the mission and his many thanks for the training. At the end it reads:
Best of all I enjoyed spending so much time alone with you, gazing into your beautiful green eyes. If we survive this alien invasion, I want us to quit S.H.I.E.L.D. so we can get married before someone decides to freeze me for another century. So, what do you say?
“Let’s make some 100 percent human babies, Steve,” Valentine says with a gorgeous smile. Cap replies, “I’m so glad I didn’t take Howlett’s advice to do this via hologram.”
Howlett heads up a committee of Greens that round up loose Grays and shuts down their reproduction labs all around the world. Fury leads a team to work with the Greens on research needed to formulate “the good package.” He also grants Cap and Valentine civilian status in exchange for best man status at their wedding, to which Cap jokes that it’d be a close call between him and Howlett.
Gray EBEs are apprehended and taken back to the planet Zito by the green aliens over the course of several months. Gray-human hybrids are allowed to also return to Zito or live on Earth as law-abiding quasi-humans.
After years of peace and prosperity, the world announces it will form one central entity and government known as “The United Nations of the Earth.” Even after all that, Cap still insists on brandishing his Betsy Ross American flag until the day he dies.
Howlett returns to the X-Men’s mansion and retires to a position as head master and facilitator of the school. Fury decides to stop taking the infinity serum and dies a hyper-accelerated and natural death several months later.
Fast forward to 3099, an elderly Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rogers sit with a captive audience of grandkids and great grandkids as they recount the story of they day they helped to save the Earth from an alien invasion. One of the children fixates his gaze on a still holographic image of Cap shaking hands with Mak-tar.
